Slow Cooker Quinoa
A healthier alternative to cereal, this quinoa mix is full of flavor and enough fiber to keep you full until lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbs. coconut oil
- 2 tbs. blackstrap molasses
- 1 apple, peeled and diced
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 cup pecans
Directions
STEP 1
Add all of the ingredients except for the pecans in the base of a slow cooker, mix, and set to low heat. Cook for four to five hours or until thickened.
STEP 2
Serve with additional almond milk and garnish with chopped pecans.
